South Central PA Regional Breakfast Networking Meeting Update 9/11/09 - Chambersburg, PA
Topic: PTSD
Hello PAMHCA members!! Our Chambersburg breakfast meeting was a hit! We had 3 new people join our meeting so we began informally with introductions, ordered breakfast, took a moment of silence for the victims, families, and survivors of 9/11.
Then, we shared our experience treating individuals with PTSD and upcoming related conferences and training. We also discussed how licensure and insurances effect treatment for veterans. There was some discussion of Personality Disorders and how this diagnosis and trauma are related.
Towards the end of our meeting we briefly discussed how to become involved wth PAMHCA by serving on the board or being a member-at-large to help with various tasks and events. Overall we had a great time getting to know one another. I like to send out a special thanks to Michael Flood (from Michael Flood Counseling and Testing Services) who offered to cover our breakfast cost. Thanks to all participants!! See you next month, October 2nd @ 9am, in Carlisle!!
